Outdoor Track and Field: Posted results in seven regular season meets, as well as the Conference USA Outdoor Championships...competed in the 1,500 meter run, the 3,000 meter run, the 5,000 meter run and the 10,000 meter run...was the lone Greenie to compete in the 10,000 meter run during the season...posted a career best in the 1,500 meter run with a time of 4:32.49 at the Tulane Team Challenge (3/2)...notched a new personal best in the 3,000 meter run with a time of 9:27.42 at the Samford Invitational (4/27)...competed three other times on the season in the 3,000 meter run: the South Alabama Invitational (9:29.61 on 4/13), the Bob Hayes Cowboy Relays (9:30.22 on 3/9) and the Tulane Team Challenge (9:31.64 on 3/2)...recorded a new personal best in the 5,000 meter run at the LSU Alumni Gold (4/20) with a time of 16:08.55...competed two other times on the year in the 5,000 meter run: the LSU Relays (16:16.73 on 3/22) and the Louisiana Classics (16:31.05 on 3/16)...notched a new personal best in the 10,000 meter run at the Conference USA Outdoor Championships (5/10) with a time of 34:32.52.
Cross Country: Competed in all six of the team's meets...finished among the top five Tulane runners at three meets...covered the 10K course in a season-best 36:14.40 at the NCAA South Central Regional (11/12)...ran a season-best 8K of 28:00.00 at the Conference USA Championships (10/31)...also ran the 8K in 28:08.65 at the Georgia Invitational (9/3) and 28:41.04 at the Crimson Classic (10/15)...ran 19:05.00 over 5.5K at the Rice Invitational (9/16)...covered the four mile course at the McNeese Cowboy Stampede (10/15) in 21:02.00.
Outdoor Track and Field: Earned Second Team All-Louisiana in the 10000 meter race as named by the Louisiana Sports Writers Association...competed in five of the team's eight meets...ran the 3000, 5000 and 10000 meter races...ranked 13th in Conference USA in the 10,000 meter...owned the team's top time in the 10000 meter and ranked four in both the 3000 and 5000 meter races...ran the seventh and ninth fastest times on the team in the 3000...owned the eighth fastest time on the squad in the 5000...ran a season-best time of 35:25.29 over 10000 meters at the Conference USA Championships (5/11)...clocked his best time of the year in the 5000 meter with a time of 16:26.38 at the Golden Eagle Classic (4/28)...ran 16:54.19 over 5000 meters at the LSU Relays (3/23)...posted a season-best time of 9:29.18 over 3000 meters at the Lion Invitational (4/20)...also ran 9:50.62 for 3000 meters at the Jaguar Invitational (3/31). Prep: Lettered twice in cross country for head coach Jorge Fleiras and twice in track and field for head coach Fred Foyo while at Christopher Columbus High School...garnered team MVP honors his senior season...earned Second Team All-Dade County from the Miami-Herald during his senior season in cross country...helped the Explorers to back-to-back FHSAA 4A State Championships in cross country...was a top-45 finisher at the state championships during his junior and senior seasons...competed in the 1600 and 3200-meter races during the track and field season...was a part of the Explorers squad that finished third at the FHSAA State Track and Field Championships.
