AS A SENIOR (2002)
CROSS COUNTRY: Tulane's top finisher in every race of the year until the 10-kilometer district championships. Took first place at the UNO dual meet (10/4). Finished 39th at the Conference USA Championship with a time of 26:32.29 on the eight-kilometer course. His best 8K time came at the Auburn Invitational, where he finished 53rd of 252 runners at 25:20.90.
AS A JUNIOR (2001-02)
OUTDOOR: Recorded a time of 10:29.49 in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the Southern Miss Invitational (3/9). Also ran in the LSU Alumni Gold meet, where he had a 16:16.89 time in the 5,000. INDOOR: Ran in two meets, posting a season-best time of 4:35.47 in the mile at the LSU Twilight Invitational (2/15). Notched a clocking of 9:36.99 in the 3,000-meter run at season-opening LSU Purple Tiger Invitational (1/26). CROSS COUNTRY: Ran in five races for the Green Wave. Posted a sixth-place finish at the Tulane Invitational with a three-mile time of 15:35.70.Placed sixth at the Ragin' Cajun Invitational and 15th at the LSU Invitational.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2000-01)
OUTDOOR: Posted personal-bests of 2:00.97 in the 800 meters at USM Invitational (3/17), 4:04.20 in the 1,500 at the LSU Invitational (4/14) and 10:09.31 in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the Tulane Invitational (4/7). INDOOR: Had his best effort of the season with a 4:28.95 mile run at the C-USA Championships. CROSS COUNTRY: Ran in six meets for the Green Wave. Finished 12th of 67 runners at the Ragin' Cajun Invitational with a time of 22.37.3 on the four-mile course.
A 1999 graduate of Gonzaga Prep. Helped his cross country team to a third place finish at the state championship as a junior.
Born February 25, 1981 in Crescent City, Calif. The son of Kathleen and Brian Leskis. Lists studying languages as a hobby and is majoring in German.
