AS A JUNIOR (2003)
CROSS COUNTRY: Ran in five races for the Wave, scoring in two of those. Recorded a personal-record in the 8K at the Conference USA Championships (11/1) with a time of 27:36.80.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2002)
CROSS COUNTRY: Competed in the first three races of the year, finishing second for Tulane in all three. Recorded a time of 29 minutes flat in the eight-kilometer Ragin' Cajun Invitational (9/21).
AS A FRESHMAN (2001-02)
OUTDOOR: Competed in three meets for the Wave, running the 5,000 in all of those. Logged a season-best time of 16:44.07 at the Southern Miss Invitational (3/9). INDOOR: Ran the mile in two meets for the Wave, posting a season-best time of 4:37.71 at the LSU Twilight Invitational (2/15). CROSS COUNTRY: Ran in two races for the Green Wave, finishing fourth in the UNO Dual Meet with a time of 10:47 on the two-mile course.
A 2001 graduate of the Episcopal School of Acadiana, where he lettered in basketball, track and cross country. His high school cross country team won four state championships. An all-state selection in cross country and the state champ in 2000. Earned all-state honors in the 800 and the 1,600, as well as the 4x400 relay. Was the state champion in the 3,200-meter run as a junior and a senior.
Born June 5, 1983 in New Iberia, La. The son of Richard and Mary Landry. Major is currently undeclared.
