2002 Outdoor: Ran in two meets, running the 100 and the 400. Posted times of 12.64 in the 100 and 1:01.86 in the 400.

2002 Indoor: Participated in four meets for the Green Wave, running the 200-meter dash in all of them. Had a season-best time of 26 seconds flat.

Prep: A 2001 graduate of St. Bernard High School, where she lettered for four years in track. Helped her team to the division championship. Ran a leg on the state champion 4x100 relay team as a freshman.

Personal: Born April 11, 1983 in Los Angeles, Calif. The daughter of Doris Chancey. Intends to major in sociology with a political science minor.
