Prep: Lettered in track and field for the Rams. A two-time all-state selection, including first team all-state as a senior. Part of the state champion 4x100 relay team which broke the national record in the event. Placed second in the 100-meter dash at the state championship. Team won the state title in 2003 as well as a pair of regional championships.

Personal: Full name is Ogechi Gloria Asumnu. Born May 22, 1985. The daughter of Rosaline Noadozie and Christian Asumnu. Has three brothers. Brother Stanley plays basketball for the University of Tennessee.
