AS A SENIOR (2004-05)
OUTDOOR: Battled injuries and did not compete. CROSS COUNTRY: Tulane's top finisher in all five races in which he competed. Took first place at the three-mile UNO Invitational (10/2) and fifth at the Southern Miss Invitational (9/10). Posted a career-best 8K time of 26:26 at the Conference USA Championship (10/30) to lead Tulane. Named to the All-Louisiana team.

AS A JUNIOR AT TULANE (2003-04)
CROSS COUNTRY: Tulane's top finisher in five on the seven races of the season. Earned All-Louisiana recognition. Led Tulane at the C-USA Championship (11/1), covering the 8K-course in a personal-best 26:37.60. Posted four top 10 finishes, helping the Wave to three team victories. Recorded a time of 15:49.25 to earn third-place at the three-mile Tulane Invitational (9/5).
AS A SOPHOMORE (2002-03)
Attended Arkansas and ran for the Razorback track team.
AS A FRESHMAN AT TULANE (2001-02)
OUTDOOR: Placed third in the 800-meter run at the C-USA Championships (5/11). Posted a top 800 time of 1:50.66 at the Tulane Invitational (4/5). Tulane's top 1,500-meter runner with a time of 3:46.51 at the LSU Invitational (4/20). INDOOR: Earned all-conference honors in two events at the C-USA Championships, placing third in the mile run and helping the distance-medley relay team to first place. His top mile time was 4:09.16 at the Gator Invitational (2/10). CROSS COUNTRY: Made his collegiate debut with a victory at the two-mile UNO Dual Meet, running the course in 10:14. Placed 23rd at the C-USA Championships (8K, 25:03.2) and 56th of 123 runners at the NCAA Regionals (10K, 32:37).
Won the 1500 meters running for the Swedish National Team (Under 18) against Finland in 2000. Earned two gold medals (1500 and 800) at the 2000 Swedish National School Championships. Also took first in the 1500 meters at the Swedish Junior Indoor Championships.
Full name is Jens Philip Vilhelm Aagaard. Born June 19, 1982 in Linkoping, Sweden. The son of Jens and Maria Aagaard. A three-time selection to the Conference USA Academic Honor Roll. Earned his bachelor's degree in neuroscience from Tulane in May of 2005.
