Tulane Track Sends Six Athletes to Notre Dame
Feb. 6, 2003 NEW ORLEANS, La. - Six members of the Tulane women's track and field team will compete this weekend at the Meyo Invitational at the University of Notre Dame's Loftus Sports Center. A number of top teams from across the nation will be in attendance at the meet, including Arkansas, Maryland, Clemson, Georgetown, Michigan, Central Michigan, Eastern Michigan, Windsor and Michigan State. The only Green Wave competitor in action on Friday will be sophomore Camilla Hatlen, who will compete in the long jump. Hatlen will also be in action on Saturday, competing in the hurdles. Sophomore Angel Dooley will run in both the 60 meters and the 200 meters, while classmate Tahira Wiggins will be in action in the 400-meter dash. Freshman Lisa Green and juniors Sheena Garwood and Carlyne Pradieu will all run the 800 meters, while Green is also in action in the 1,000-meter run.
Following this weekend's action, the Green Wave will be in action at the University of Arkansas' Tyson Invitational on Feb. 14 and 15.
