BATON ROUGE, La. - Lisa Green won the 1,500-meter run to lead the Tulane women's track team in action at the Tiger Twilight Classic at Bernie Moore Track Stadium on Saturday evening.

Green, Tulane's lone first-place finisher, posted a time of 4:42.11 to win the 1,500. Junior Eva Lustigova posted a season-best time of 2:13.61 to finish third in the 800-meter run.

The other top finisher for the Wave was sophomore Jelena Jurlina who took second in the javelin with a career-best throw of 158 feet, 11 inches.

Other personal records were turned in by Tahira Wiggins in the 200-meter dash and Lissie Mo in the long jump.

The meet was the final warm-up for Tulane in preparation for the Conference USA Outdoor Track Championships which will be contested from May 14-17 in Charlotte.
