NEW ORLEANS, La. - Senior Aisha Otori and freshman Marilyn Sauls had strong long jump performances to pace the Tulane University women's track team on Saturday at the Houston Indoor Classic.

Otori and Sauls both took third place in the long jump in their respective groups. Sauls leapt 18 feet, six and a half inches, while Otori had a jump of 17 feet, four and a quarter inches.

Freshman Lindsey Karlick broke the school record in the pole vault with a height of 10 feet, eight inches. She had set the indoor mark at 10-6 in last weekend's meet. She finished sixth in the event.
