Prep: Lettered twice in cross country for head coach Jorge Fleiras and twice in track and field for head coach Fred Foyo while at Christopher Columbus High School...garnered team MVP honors his senior season...earned Second Team All-Dade County from the Miami-Herald during his senior season in cross country...helped the Explorers to back-to-back FHSAA 4A State Championships in cross country...was a top-45 finisher at the state championships during his junior and senior seasons...competed in the 1600 and 3200-meter races during the track and field season...was a part of the Explorers squad that finished third at the FHSAA State Track and Field Championships.
