2001 Indoor: One of the top two freshman triple-jumpers in the nation. Was the C-USA Champion with a leap of 51-02.75. His season-best jump was 52-10, a Tulane school record. Placed 16th at the NCAA Championships in the triple jump. Was fifth at the C-USA championships in the long jump (23-04).

Prep: A 2000 graduate of Opelousas High School, lettering in track for three years. Earned all-state honors as a senior. Was the state champ in the triple jump in both indoor and outdoor track. His team won three straight state championships.

Personal: Born February 10, 1982. The son of Carl and Janice White. Majoring in telecommunications. Also enjoys basketball and swimming.
