Outdoor Track and Field: Competed in two of the team's six meets...participated in the pole vault in each of his appearances...was the team's top pole vaulter during the seasons...posted a season-best 3.90-meter vault at the Conference USA Outdoor Championships (5/16)...also cleared 3.66-meters at the Louisiana Classics (3/20).

Earned Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll and was a member of the Tulane 3.0 Club.

2008-09 (Freshman)

Prep: Lettered in track and field at Archbishop Rummel High School for head coach Doug Fraley...was a district, regional and state qualifier in the pole vault during his junior season...qualified for the district and regional meet in the vault as a senior...also lettered in wrestling, soccer, football and powerlifting...was a state qualifier in powerlifting as a senior...in the classroom, was awarded the Joseph Francis Rummel Scholarship for five years, the highest available scholarship offered at Rummel High School...graduated in the top three-percent of his class...was a member of the honor roll all four years at Rummel.

Personal: Born Evan Nicoll on September 6, 1989...the son of Michael Nicoll, Sr. and Donna Horowitz...has one brother, Michael, and one sister, Aimee.
