2010-11 (Freshman)

Indoor Track and Field: Competed in three of the team's six meets...participated in the high jump in each meet...ranked third on the team in the high jump...cleared 1.57-meters at the Conference USA Championships (2/25)...no heighted at the Purple Tiger Invitational (1/15) and the Husker Invitational (2/5).

Outdoor Track and Field: Competed in four of the team's 11 meets...ranked third on the team in the high jump...owned the team's sixth, seventh and ninth best high jump marks during the season...cleared a season-best height of 1.62-meters at the LSU Relays (3/25)...jumped 1.60-meters at the Louisiana Classics (3/19), 1.59-meters at the Tulane Team Challenge (3/9) and 1.53-meters at the South Alabama Invitational (4/9).

Prep: Lettered all four years in track and field at Hillgrove High School for head coach Allerie Sweet...was selected as the team captain during her junior and senior season...was named the team MVP as a sophomore, junior and senior...was the 4A High Jump state championship as a senior...was selected All-State during her senior season...earned All-Cobb County accolades as a junior and a senior...was a Region 6-4A pick during her final two seasons with the Hawks...owns the HHS school records in the high jump, triple jump, 4x400 and 4x100 events...competed at the GHSAA State Championships in both the high jump and 4x400 relay as a senior.

Personal: Born Melanie Elizabeth Lynn Mainor on April 7, 1992...the daughter of Paul and Cheryl Mainor...has one brother, Andew.
