2010-2012 (Football) Played defensive tackle for Tulane's football team...has appeared in 33 games...totaled 36 tackles...12 tackles for loss...8.5 sacks for his career

Prior To Tulane: Enrolled at the U.S. Military Preparatory School for the 2009-10 academic year...started all six games along the defensive line 2009 for coach Tom Simi...also threw the shot put and javelin for the track and field team.

High School: Three-year letterman at St. Michael's High where he played tight end and defensive end for coaches Eric Held and Barry Musemeche...tabbed a three-star recruit, the No. 42 prospect in Louisiana and the No. 52 defensive end in the nation by Rivals.com, named two-star recruit and the No. 146 defensive end in the nation by Scout.com, and recognized as the No. 211 defensive end prospect in the country by ESPN.com...named first-team all-state and all-metro as a senior after tallying 107 tackles and 13 sacks...selected to play in the 2008 U.S. Army Red Stick Bowl at Olympia Stadium...racked up 82 tackles and seven sacks as a junior...recorded 30 tackles, 11 sacks, seven forced fumbles and three blocked kicks as a sophomore...also lettered in basketball, weightlifting and track and field...as a senior, was tabbed first-team All-District 7-4A after averaging 22 points and 7.8 rebounds per game on the hardwood, won the 105-kilogram class and had the second-best overall lift of 211 kg at the Louisiana State High School Olympic Weightlifting Championship and was the Class 4A runner-up in the javelin with a toss of 182-7...for his overall athletic efforts, was tabbed the The Advocate's Athlete of the Year...listed among 2009 People To Watch by 225BatonRouge.com.
