AS A SENIOR (2003-04)
OUTDOOR: Tulane's top 5,000-meter runner, competing in three meets. Posted a career-best time of 19:07.37 at the UNO Invitational (3/13). INDOOR: Did not compete in any meets. CROSS COUNTRY: Scored in all six of the meets in which she competed. Posted a career-best 5K time of 19:46.51 at the Ragin' Cajun Invitational (9/20). Had three sub-20 minute five-kilometer efforts.
AS A JUNIOR (2002-03)
OUTDOOR: Tulane's top long-distance runner. Recorded a time of 40:43.27 in the 10,000-meter run at the C-USA Championships (5/16). Also notched the Wave's top 3,000-meter time of 11:26.85 at the UNO Invitational (3/15). INDOOR: Did not compete in any meets. CROSS COUNTRY: Scored in all seven meets for the Green Wave and was Tulane's second finisher in three of those. Registered a 12th place finish in the five-kilometer Ragin' Cajun Invitational with a time of 20:52.
AS A FRESHMAN & SOPHOMORE
Attended Tulane, but was not a member of the track and field team.
A 2000 graduate of Providence Day School. Helped her cross country team to a pair of state championships (1997, 1998) and three conference championships. Placed fourth in the state cross country championship as a senior. Took third place in the conference and state meets in 1997.
Born July 29, 1982 in Charlotte, N.C. The daughter of Susan and Henry Hopper. An honor student who is a double major in psychology and sociology at Tulane. Volunteers as a tutor in New Orleans public schools. Selected to the Conference USA Academic Honor Roll in 2002-03 and 2003-04.
