OUTDOOR:
The top javelin thrower for the Wave. Had a season-best effort of 175-02 at the Gator Invitational (3/29) and finished fifth at the C-USA Championships (5/11) to score four points for Tulane.

PREP
A 2001 graduate of Stonington High School, where he lettered in football and track. Earned all-state and all-area honors. Won his conference championship in the javelin and took second at the state championship. Posted a top throw of 174 feet.

PERSONAL
Full name is Eric Harrison Hambidge. Born March 1, 1983. The son of Roger and Elizabeth Hambidge. Earned his bachelor's degree in anthropology from Tulane in May of 2005. Selected to the Conference USA Academic Honor Roll in 2004-05. Earned the Tulane Athletic Director's Award given for given for outstanding effort, attitude and for overcoming obstacles during his career.
