1999 Outdoors: An NCAA qualifier in the 400-meter hurdles . . . School record holder in the event with a time of 50.26 . . . Earned all-conference honors and won the C-USA 400 hurdle championship with a time of 50.39, which was a meet record.

1999 Indoors: An NCAA qualifier as part of the 4x400 relay team that ran a school-record 3:11.04 . . . Finished fourth (49.26) at the C-USA indoor championships in the 400 meters . . . Helped the 4x400-meter relay team to a runner-up effort at the conference championships.

Prior to Tulane: A two-time NAIA national champion in the 400-meter hurdles at Southern University-New Orleans.

Prep: A standout at St. Jaga, placed third in the 110-meter hurdles and fourth in the 400-meter hurdles as a senior.
