2002 Outdoor: Posted a school record in the 800 with a time of 1:48.29 at the LSU Invitational (4/20). Finished 13th in the 800 at the NCAA Championship in Baton Rouge (5/29) with a time of 1:48.83. 2002 Indoor: Matched the Tulane school record in the 800 with a time of 1:51.61 at the Gator Invitational (2/10). That time narrowly missed an NCAA Provisional time. 2001 Outdoor: The C-USA Champion in the 800-meter run. Also finished first in the 800 at two other meets. Posted a top 800 time of 1:48.91 at Georgia Tech (5/19), an NCAA Provisional qualifying time. Also ran the 400, recording a personal-best of 48.19 seconds at Mississippi State (4/22). 2000 Indoor: Posted a personal best 800 time of 1:54.36 at the Conference USA Championships (2/27), where he finished second.
