Joanna Lapucha - Women's Track & Field Sophomore, Lafayette, La.has maintained a 3.953 as an undecided major. Lapucha passed the two opening heights of the pole vault competition at the Conference USA Championships, before entering at 3.45-meters. The sophomore proceeded to clear each of the next four progressions on her first attempt to break her own school standard. Already the school record holder in the event, Lapucha broke it twice more on Sunday evening. Her final two clearances moved the mark to 3.80-meters, before she fouled out. This season, Lapucha has improved the school record in the event by over one foot.
