Greg Campbell enters his third year with the Tulane Athletic Communications Office after spending ten years at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. He will work as the primary contact for the baseball, cross country, track and field and volleyball programs.
Campbell is a member of the College Sports Information Directors of America, the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association and the Louisiana Sports Writers Association. He serves as the official statistician for volleyball and baseball, while overseeing national, regional and local media coverage for his sports.
During his ten years at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio - four as a full time member of the Sports Information office - he worked with the baseball, cross country, swimming and diving, men's and women's soccer and men's and women's tennis programs. Campbell started his stay with the Raiders athletic program as a student assistant in the sports information office, aiding the full time staff in day-to-day office work and travel with various teams.
While with the baseball team, Campbell worked with the players on their media skills and aided the coaching staff in dealing with the media on a daily basis. On game days he served as the PA announcer for all Raider home baseball, soccer and volleyball games.
Campbell received his bachelor of arts degree in Liberal Studies, with concentrations in broadcasting and public relations, from Wright State University in 2010. He currently resides in Kenner, La. with his wife, the former Jenny Schultz from Mora, Minn
