NEW ORLEANS-The Tulane Athletics Fund will be holding two events to mark the start of the winter sports season next week. The Ray Hester Chapter of the Tulane Athletics Fund (TAF) will once again lend its time and support to Tulane Athletics by hosting the annual "Let's Talk Tulane Basketball" event on Sunday, November 9 from 5-8pm at the Boomtown Casino in Harvey, La. Admission is $15 and includes the company of the Tulane basketball coaches, staff, and Tulane basketball fans, as well as ample food and beverages and a live auction benefiting Tulane student-athletes. Also of note, Tulane Athletics' Winter Sports Tip-Off Luncheon will be held on Wednesday, November 12 from 12-2pm at the Hard Rock Café, located at 418 N. Peters Street in the French Quarter. Head men's basketball coach Dave Dickerson and head women's basketball coach Lisa Stockton will preview their upcoming seasons and talk about the excitement surrounding Green Wave basketball.
