NEW ORLEANS -The Tulane Greenbackers Booster Club made a generous gift to the Tulane Athletics Fund (TAF) - Home Field Advantage program today in support of Tulane Football and the new Tulane Stadium.
"This gift expresses our faith in the future of Tulane Football," said President of the Greenbackers Mike Johnston. "We are excited about Coach Johnson and his staff and look forward to having our own stadium on campus to call home. The future is very bright."
Gifts to TAF - Home Field Advantage directly support Tulane Football and Coach Johnson's efforts to build a consistent winner. In addition, those gifts count toward the $70 million Home Field Advantage campaign goal, with its focus on bringing football back to the Uptown campus and enhancing the football program. Gifts made prior to June 30 will also count toward TAF's goal of surpassing 3,000 donors. Currently, more than 2,725 donors have made a gift to TAF and with just 9 days left in the fiscal year every additional gift makes a significant impact for the Tulane athletics department.
