Nathan Hubbell has been named the General Manager by IMG College/Tulane Sports Marketing

NEW ORLEANS - IMG College/Tulane Sports Marketing has named Nathan Hubbell as its General Manager, it was announced today by the Tulane Athletics Department.
Hubbell will head up the responsibility for securing new corporate partners, as well as, ensuring that existing partners receive significant value for their investment with Tulane Sports Marketing.
"As Tulane Athletics enters the American Athletics Conference, our media exposure, primarily through ESPN but also via our radio, internet, and local television rights, will be 10 times greater than at any other time in the history of this athletics program," said Tulane Executive Associate Athletic Director Brandon Macneill.
"With the addition of Yulman Stadium opening this fall, Tulane will have complete control of all our facilities for the first time in decades. The timing could not have been better to lure Nathan and Cristina back home. His experience and contacts are going to be invaluable as we double the size and scope of this area in the coming year. We are committed to building this the right way and providing incredible return on investment to both our amazing sponsors, who have been with us for years, but also in attracting new sponsors that will help generate the revenues necessary to keep the program moving forward," Macneill added.
Prior to Tulane, Hubbell spent a season plus with the NFL's Jacksonville Jaguars as Vice President of Business Development/Partner Relations, where he managed the Jags major sponsor relationships, and driving new business sales.
Prior to joining the Jaguars, Hubbell held several roles in the sponsorship department for the New Orleans Hornets, now Pelicans, for over 10 years. He went with the Hornets to Oklahoma City immediately following Hurricane Katrina and played a key role reconnecting the team and sponsors during the return to New Orleans for the 2007-08 season.

A native of Covington, La., and graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi, Hubbell earned his bachelor's degree in Communications/Broadcast Journalism in 2000. He and his wife Cristina have two daughters: Sophia and Julia.
